Leaders & Group supporters

The 1st Victorian Sea Scouts have vacancies for adult leaders to help out with our growing program we are seeking leaders/supporters to assist with

  • Cubs, girls and boys, ages 7-10, currently meeting Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00pm
  • Scouts, girls and boys, ages 11-14, currently meeting Monday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00pm
  • Venturers, girls and boys ages 14-18, currently meeting Wednesday evening from 7.30-9.30pm
  • Committee members

Not all adult leaders need to have the traditional scouting or sailing skills.  The main requirement is that you enjoy being around kids and are eager to grow with the group.  There are leadership roles open for adults who want to plan, operate and grow the program, and who are willing to undertake the requisite training.  There are also places for adults who just want to get involved on a part time or casual basis.

Scouts Australia offers additional training at many levels for adult leaders.  All expenses are covered by the Scouts.
