About Cubs

Cub Scouts is the second section of Scouts. Cubs is for everyone aged between 7.5 and 10.5. 

Our Cub Scouts meet on Wednesday nights from 6.30pm to 8pm during school term.

Why join?

Cub Scout focuses on exploring the outdoors.

Living an active lifestyle in a safe and friendly environment.

Cubs Scouts have a lot of fun doing a variety of interesting activities while making friends. We encourage them to 'do their best', as well as them encouraging others to 'do their best'.

Cub Scouts belong to a Pack and begin to learn leadership and teamwork in small teams called Sixes.​

What will your cub learn?

The program revolves around playing games and doing activities. 

They develop 
  • relationship skills
  • values and abilities skills
  • the ability to help others
  • leadership skills
They also take part in the award scheme.

Badge work

Each Cub Scout collects special badges to show their skills and achievements. Each Cub Scout has the opportunity to achieve their Grey Wolf Award before moving onto the Scout section.
